Love and Worship
Flesh can’t glory in His presence – I Cor. 1:29
Worship God what ere betide – Job 1:20
Self must stop in seeking glory – John 8:50
Glory He will not divide – Isaiah 48:11
All shall praise, confess and laud Him
Every knee to Him shall bow
High above all else exalted
Is the Lord of Glory now.
The One who saved us we adore
In love, would worship, Lord of all
Of glory honor thanks give more
In worship we would prostrate fall
Humbleness (Wisemen)
Scribes and Chief Priests quoted scripture
But to worship none bowed down
Shepherds glorified and praise Him
Wise men worshipped and fell down.
Friendship and love
Out of rank admonish wisely
Soothe the ones of little soul
Help the weak and be longsuffering
Prayer unceasing should control.
Rejoice with them that do rejoice
And weep with them that shed a tear
Forsake not gathering unto Him
Exhort much more as day draws near.
Comfort
Coming for you, this He said
Watch and pray lift up the head
Comforts us on every side
He is LORD what e’re betide.
Busybodies
Busybodies, busy meddling – I Tim. 5:13
Forcing men what they should do – 3John 1:10
Using threats if no submission – Eph. 6:9
Why as God do they pursue? – Job 19:22
Assurance of Salvation
A Traveler crossed a frozen stream
In trembling fear one day.
Later, a teamster drove across
And whistled all the way.
Great faith and little faith alike
Were granted safe convoy
But one had pangs of needless fear,
The other all the Joy!
