How thankful we are that our gracious Father "freely gives us all things" (Rom. 8:32). And how thankful we are that the Spirit of God makes known to us the things that are "freely given" (I Cor. 2:12). Consequently, it seems to us, ministry is simply a giving back and a giving forth of those things that have been freely given to us. Knowing this, how profound is our Savior's precept, "Freely you received, freely give" (Matt. 10:8).
